I am so happy that you want to bring more of Jesus into your celebrations with your children this time of year!
I love discussing with my kids the meaning of why we use the decorations that we do during the Christmas season.
Some of these you may have previously known, some may be new to you too! But with so much commercialism around this time of year, I look for ways to bring more intention to what truly matters to Christmas!
Enjoy these Free printables with your kids.
Simply read out the meaning from the list while you are decorating or maybe at the dinner table or devotional time.
OR print out the cards on cardstock and cut them out for a fun way to present them to your kids or to get them more involved.
You can go over them like flash cards, you can make a game of it, let your kids use them to educate grandma and grandpa or your neighbors.
You can also use them in a Sunday school or homeschool lesson!
You can pull these out each year with your decorations to remind each of you what they truly stand for. (Maybe even laminate them!)
However you use them, I hope that it helps add one more way to turn our hearts toward Jesus in this season and to do it as a family!
What could be more precious to the Lord?!
